This Pre-Application Consultation relates to the intention of Lidl Great Britain Ltd to submit to the local planning authority (Caerphilly County Borough Council) a full planning application for the erection of a new Lidl store, access, car parking, landscaping and all associated works on land off Commercial Street, Risca.

Lidl is currently represented in Risca at its existing store at Commercial Street. The existing store is a small, early generation format. Lidl has outgrown its existing premises which no longer meets modern shopper and operational requirements. It is proposed to relocate to a larger site along Commercial Street.
