CarneySweeney has been appointed to help with the planning process of the development at Norwich Road, Cardiff. Peter Waldren leads the planning input to deliver full planning permission for employment units at the site, having previously obtained permission for retail development of adjacent land under the same ownership.
The proposed development consists of 15 employment units within Use Class B1 (light industry) and/or B2 (general industry) and/or B8 (storage and distribution). The scheme includes revised access, SuDS features and associated pedestrian and cycle provision. In order to utilise renewable energy resources, photovoltaic panels are incorporated in the proposal and electrical vehicle charging points are proposed.
