Land north of Quince Honey Farm, North Devon

CarneySweeney's Exeter team was appointed by Wedgewood Groundworks Ltd to submit a retrospective planning application for the retention of a waste transfer station and recycling facility situated on land between Quince Honey Farm and the A360 near South Molton in North Devon. CarneySweeney scoped the application submission with Devon County Council as Minerals & Waste Planning Authority (M&WPA) and coordinated the technical documentation produced by the consultant team. The application gave rise to a complex range of planning (principle of development), heritage, ecology, landscape, noise and access considerations. CarneySweeney led the technical team and negotiations with the M&WPA and North Devon Council as a statutory consultee to secure a delegated planning approval.
