CarneySweeney secured reserved matters approval for 350 homes to enable the final phases of Persimmon Homes' Ashworth Place development to begin construction. Following extensive pre-application discussions, attendance at a Design Review Panel and a collaborative approach to the planning application, the development delivers a high-quality design with community allotments, a play area, and a network of footpaths to surrounding open space including the Country Park developed under the same Outline Permission. All dwellings will feature solar panels, have EV charging points and connection to the District Heat Network. The development of Phase 4 and 5 will also complete the Mosshayne Link Road which will provide a route for a new bus service into nearby Exeter for residents of Ashworth Place.
