CarneySweeney is acting as Bute Energy's Consenting Lead at Llyn Lort E.P, a renewable energy project located southwest of Llanerfyl and west of Cefn Coch in Powys, Mid-Wales. The proposal includes up to 25 wind turbines generating 165MW of clean, green energy, enough to power the equivalent of 144,000 households a year.  The project will deliver significant benefits to the local community, including an annual Community Benefit Fund in the region of c.£1.2m (based on current designs).  The project is a Development of National Significance (DNS) and will be made to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW) as determining authority.
